ANNAHADA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY RESOLVES ISSUES WITH THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (FME) AND

ANNAHADA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY RESOLVES ISSUES WITH THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (FME) AND NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES COMMISSION (NUC).

Today, With Allah Sheer Grace, Annahada International University in Maradi, Niger Republic, resolved the issue surrounding its accreditation status. The University expresses heartfelt gratitude to Allah for this great achievement.

This information was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdoulnasir Malam Haroun, and the Director of ICT and Nigeria Liaison Officer, Malam Hadi Salisu.

The National Universities Commission has confirmed that Annahada International University, previously listed as a degree mill in Nigeria, is no longer operating in the country. This confirmation is outlined in a letter signed by Dr. N.B Saliu, Director of Academic Planning, on behalf of the Executive Secretary.

Another letter confirming the accreditation status of Annahada International University in Niger, Maradi, Republic of Niger, was issued by the Education Support Service Department of the Federal Ministry of Education’s Evaluation and Accreditation Division. This letter, bearing reference number FME/ESS/E&A/AIU/I/60, is dated 18th December 2023 and addressed to the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). It is signed by Mrs. Uchenna Maryrose Udoji (Ph.D) on behalf of the Minister. « In view of the above, I am directed to inform you that the Ministry of Higher Education, Republic of Niger has confirmed the authenticity of Annahada International University in its two campuses at Niamey and Maradi respectively, this confirmation was forwarded to the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja through the Diplomatic Channel.
On that note, you may kindly accept graduates from the institution to partake in the National Youth Service Scheme after the evaluation of their certificates from the Ministry”

Also, another letter confirming the accreditation status of Annahada International University in Niger, Maradi, Republic of Niger, was issued by the Education Support Service Department of the Federal Ministry of Education’s Evaluation and Accreditation Division. This letter, bearing reference number FME/ESS/E&A/AIU/I/60, is dated 18th December 2023 and addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of AIU Maradi, Republic of Niger. It is signed by Mrs. Uchenna Maryrose Udoji (Ph.D) on behalf of the Minister. “I am directed to acknowledge receipt of your letter and to inform you that Annahada International University, Maradi, Niger Republic has been confirmed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Republic of Niger in its two campuses at Niamey and Maradi respectively.
Consequently, the Degree certificates awarded by the University are recognized and accepted for the purposes of participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) employment, and promotion as applicable to the certificates awarded by any Nigerian University in a similar field of study”

The Management of AIU Maradi is, by this development, calling on all graduates and students of AIU to disregard any mischief against this great institution, as their certificate is internationally recognized. Additionally, the management congratulates all students for their perseverance and commitment during this period of resolution.
